Finally took a seat and grabbed a slice been working the floor hard today - my dogs are hurting! Made a few good connections today and it's been fun talking about the website. Still a few puzzled looks when trying to explain the concepts but I think in general people are seeing the value, time will tell.

Favorite thing I've seen today so far - Austin Powers at the Monster booth! Groovy....

Ummm...there was a little accident at Kitty O'Sheas. Someone decided to run themselves through the rotating glass doors. At first I thought someone dropped some dishes, but when we peeked around the corner this is what we saw. Guy was OK, not sure what his B.A.C. was though!

Day 1 in the books. I love it when my wife attends she is so amazed at all the happenings on the show floor and the diversity of people and products at the show. I got a chance to visit some of our sponsors and will catch the rest today. Technology section is a must today as well. 

This is the strangest, but most interesting NACS Show for me from this perspective. It's the first show I'm flying solo trying to spread the word about My C-Store World - attending in a technological, social media capacity rather than a manufacturer or broker. Very very strange not to be obligated to be 'scheduled' anywhere. Solitude is bliss I guess! 

Being in my position is exciting and daunting at the same time. I liken the experience to the Wild West - unexplored territory that is wide open for discovery.

Let the Day 2 games begin. See you on the floor (possibly the Disco floor? Wait until you see my shirt today, awesome!)

Great dinner tonight with Sam's Mart, Sugar Foods, Kunzler and Don Miguel at Harry Caray's! Who would have thought a Bison Filet from there would be world class! Holy Cow!! Almost better than sitting it the bleachers having a Bud with the legend!
